Join us Thursday, September 26 at 6pm for an exclusive 4-course wine dinner crafted by Chef Ricardo Rodriguez with pairings from Ferrari-Carano. You will be guided through the tasting notes of each wine, learn more about this winery and enjoy a meal specifically with these wines in mind.

MENU & PAIRINGS

 

First Course: 

Super Lump Crab Cakes with a scallop mousse

 

The first course will be paired with Ferrari-Carrano’s 2018 Fumé Blanc. 96 points Double Gold Medal Best of Class from the International Women’s Wine Competition.

 

Light-bodied, dry white wine, with hints of citrus, melon and herbal/grassy notes, slight oak character giving the wine richness with a delicate creaminess. 

 

Second Course: 

Heirloom Tomatoes and Mozzarella with fresh basil, roasted pine nuts and a balsamic reduction

and

Wasabi-Rubbed Pan-Seared Rare Tuna over a bed of spinach with black & white sesame seeds, crispy wontons and mandarins

 

The second course will be paired with Ferrari-Carrano’s 2016 Chardonnay Reserve. 91 points from Wine Spectator

Entree Course:

Pan-Seared Corvina Sea Bass with green chile garlic & parmesan polenta with barre blanc caper sauce

and 

Filet with truffle mashed potatoes, red wine reduction and asparagus

The entree course will be paired with Ferrari-Carrano’s 2015 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Gold Medal from the San Francisco Chronicle 2019 Wine Competition.

 

Full-bodied red wine with rich austere fruit with an elegant refined taste. 

 

Dessert:

Berry & Mango Tart with mascarpone and raspberry jam

 

The dessert course will be paired with Ferrari-Carrano’s Moscato.
